Get to know Nairobi - Register NOW for our last bus tour on 29.10.!

Date 09/09/2016

The parent representation together with DSN invite German School Members on 3 guided tours around Nairobi. The tours will give you a view into different areas of Nairobi and point out places of interest, for example shops, sports facilities, hospitals, art centres, dining and dancing.

We mainly offer the tours to give newcomers to our school society a flair of the city. But anyone wishing to see the city from a new side and get to know some of the new and old faces around DSN - Karibuni!

The 3 tours will take place:

17th of September 9-14: A contrasting programme through townships and high-end areas, including arts, culture, sports and hospitals in the close surroundings.(Areas: Ruaka - Windsor - Muthaiga - Thigiri)

CANCELLED! 24th of September 9-14: This is our shop - wine - dine and dance programme through bustling Westlands, Parklands and Raphta Road. Ending up at Diamond Plaza, a must see Indian inspired part of town.

29th of October 9-15: Find inspiration for day trips as we head over to Karen, one of the oldest and perhaps most known parts of Nairobi, once home to Danish writer Karen Blixen. We drive via Ngong Road with its vendors and explore the many possibilities for daytrips, restaurants and craft and arts centres that side of town. The trip back on the by-pass will take us through townships and lush small scale farm areas.

To register please pass by Virginia in the administration and put down your name and e-mail together with a registration fee of 500 KES/person per tour. Deadline Wednesday before each tour.
