In which town, in which country do you currently live?
Currently still in Nairobi
What do you see when you look out your window?
Much green. A clear sky
What do you particularly like about your current location?
That I am in my comfort zone and also with my family
What are you currently doing?
At the moment I am trying to get a visa for Germany, which is proving to be quite difficult because of the Covid restrictions
What was particularly easy or difficult at school when you came back?
Well, I haven’t left yet so there’s not much I can say about that
What would you give us on our way? What can we improve?
I really would have loved to learn more about Kenya in class … geography, history, even English literature. There is so much that could be done that would be very interesting for everyone. It’s a shame that we did so little about Kenya in class.
Otherwise I just want to say: be friendly. Be happy. Be tolerant of others. It doesn’t hurt to be a decent person.
What do you particularly fondly remember when you think of Kenya?
My friends, the warm smiles on people’s faces, the sunshine
What are you missing?
I miss seeing my friends every single day. And the moments of laughter that we’d share
