ast night, nearly 100 people came to the German School Nairobi to enjoy the screening of the political thriller Chaguo. The film shows how an election year can bring out the worst in people: Tribalism, racism, and class discrimination – all fueled by self-serving politicians who have mastered the art of division and power politics.
Produced by Good Karma Fiction Ltd. and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the film depicts a generation of young Africans living in the modern technological world with access to everything available to a young adult in the Western world. The film shows how important good leadership is and how important it is for politicians to stand by their word.
After the screening, the audience had the opportunity to ask the actors and actresses their questions and get an insight into the film production.
We thank all participants for this wonderful evening and look forward to the next film evening!
