Today, democracy was on the timetable at the German School Nairobi in a very practical way: our students in grades 5\u201312 elected their new student council (SV).<\/p>\n
17 enthusiastic candidates presented their ideas\u2014ranging from cafeteria issues and lost and found to digital questions and the desire for more say in school decisions.<\/p>\n
Principal J\u00f6rg Isenbeck opened the election by pointing out that at DSN, we not only teach democracy, but also live it.<\/p>\n
The student council consists of five elected students and plays an important role in school life: it raises concerns, represents the interests of fellow students, and actively helps shape the school.<\/p>\n
