On 21 January 2026, the student representatives of the German School Nairobi attended a formal reception at the Residence of the German Embassy in Nairobi. The occasion marked the visit of Germany\u2019s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Johann Wadephul, during his first official trip to Sub Saharan Africa.<\/div>\n

The German School Nairobi (DSN) was represented by student leaders Noah (Grade 12) and Lexi (Grade 11), together with Principal J\u00f6rg Isenbeck. In a warm and respectful atmosphere, the evening provided valuable opportunities for exchange and new connections.<\/div>\n

During a personal conversation with the Foreign Minister, Lexi and Noah shared insights into their educational journey at the German School Nairobi. They spoke about the DSN scholarship programme and reflected on their successful participation in the international debating tournament in Istanbul. Johann Wadephul showed great interest in their experiences and in the strong engagement of our school community.<\/div>\n
