For the third year now, we have the so-called seminar subject in grades 11 and 12 with one hour per week. The focus is on practicing and reflecting on learning and working methods, as well as on developing a subject for the presentation exam, which tries to resolve a critical question.
In addition, the goal is to prepare our students for learning and living as students at a college or university. A visit from two former students from our school in the seminar class on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021 was perfect opportunity to do that! Natalie Beck and Vanessa Beck from the Abi classes of 2014/2015 shared their experiences in a round of talks with the 11th and 12th graders and gave important tips, e.g. on applying to universities and colleges, acquiring scholarships, finding accommodation, spending a semester abroad, setting up study groups and much more.
Many thanks!
