Kindergarten DaF

A new school year has begun and fortunately all children have physically returned to kindergarten.  For the DaF lessons, I deliberately work in small groups from each class to specifically promote vocabulary, sentence structure and article knowledge. We started with our body parts – what are they called, how many do we have of each, learned the corresponding articles and sang and danced the Flummi song. We also talked about our families, how many members each family has, what are they called, what are their names. We also practiced clapping syllables. Next week we will turn to the topic of fruit. So far, all 62 DaF children have arrived at kindergarten, which is new to some of them, and are motivated to learn. Looking forward to a wonderful year together
