Dear School Community,

As every year, we would like to enable Kenyan students to be enrolled into the scholarship programme of the German School Nairobi. Up to October 31st 2021, 9- and 10-year-old pupils are legible for application for this programme. After an intensive selection process in November, the best pupils are then enrolled into the programme and receive a thorough German language course from January to July 2022. During this time, they already attend Math and Sports lessons in class 4a. From the 2022/23 school year, the students will then be fully integrated into Grade 5 and then, years later, hopefully take a brilliant Abitur in Grade 12. With the German International Abitur (DIA), pupils can attend university in Germany, which of course offers wonderful opportunities for the future.

Quite a few students from our school have already successfully taken this path and are now studying at a wide variety of universities in Germany.
