This week, our Class 1 children rolled up their sleeves on Peponi Road, helping to plant 60 trees from ten different species. Each child planted three to four trees, with plenty of enthusiasm!
As they grow, the trees will provide shade, create habitats for wildlife and help make our city greener. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to get involved and see how they can make a difference to their environment.
A big thank you to Cathy Watson and her team, Laura Nyongesa from the Kenya Urban Roads Authority and environmental officer Gloria Simiyu for such a special morning!
