Seventeen new students were welcomed into Class 1 during our traditional Einschulungsfeier, attended by the Primary School and their families.
Dressed in their finest clothes and proudly carrying their Schultüten and school bags, the children enjoyed a welcome speech from our Principal, a puppet show by the Primary School Team and a theatre performance by Class 2. The whole audience also joined in singing “Alle Kinder lernen lesen”.
The children then met their class animal, the leopard, and each received a sunflower from their new class teacher. Together, they made their way to their new classroom for a welcome circle and games.
Meanwhile, the parents had time to get to know one another in the cafeteria before everyone came together again for the class photo and official Einschulungsfotos.
