On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, we welcomed Woodlands School for an eagerly anticipated U-10 boys basketball match, a game that was highly anticipated by our players after extensive practice sessions.
Representing DSN were Mwila, Dante, Simon, Jonas, Kibet, Gabriel, Mika, Finn, Eduard, and Adriaan. The game consisted of four quarters, each lasting 10 minutes, and both teams started with similar energy levels.
While there were some missed opportunities in the first two quarters, DSN gradually gained momentum and became more effective in their offensive plays during the latter half of the game. Their strategic approach paid off as they scored more baskets, ultimately securing a 20-12 victory. This win served as a significant morale boost for the young players, who had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to compete in a match for quite some time.
