Today, democracy was on the timetable at the German School Nairobi: our students from Classes 5–12 elected their new Student Council (SV).
Seventeen dedicated candidates presented their ideas – ranging from cafeteria topics and lost & found to digital challenges and the wish for more participation in school decisions.
Principal Jörg Isenbeck opened the election by emphasizing that at DSN, democracy is not only taught but lived.
The Student Council consists of five elected students and plays an important role in school life: representing their peers, voicing concerns, and actively shaping our community.
The results will be announced on Monday – but one thing is already clear: Your Voice Matters!
