| Her trip as part of the scholarship selection interviews for the International Parliamentary Scholarship of the German Bundestag for sub-Saharan Africa led the Member of the Bundestag Bettina Lugk, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, among other places to Nairobi, Kenya. Despite the tight schedule, she had the opportunity to visit the German School Nairobi on 27.10.2023. The new headmaster of the DSN, Jörg Isenbeck, took advantage of the visit to introduce himself and the school and, during a tour, to highlight the special features and significance of the school grounds for the German School as well as for the German community in Nairobi. In the 10th-grade history class, the foreign policy expert and geoscientist Ms. Lugk and the students quickly engaged in a lively exchange on a wide range of topics, from current global political crises to media criticism to the energy supply of the future. |
