On Thursday, 23-May-2024, we had the pleasure of hosting the Trailblazers Volleyball Club for a two-hour training session with to our DSN Volleyball team. Established in 2021, the Trailblazers Volleyball Club boasts FIVB licensed coaches, player-coaches, media personnel and physiotherapists. All these were also present during the training. Competing in the top tier of Division 1 Volleyball league in the Kenyan league, they currently hold the 5th position in the standings.
The focus of the training session was on honing basic and advanced skills, and reflecting their long-term project aimed at excellence. This approach serves as a model to be emulated by both teams, emphasizing fundamental abilities crucial for success in volleyball.
After the training, both parties had the opportunity to share their volleyball experiences and stressed on a long term project which will be rolled out in the near future.
Our players look forward to cultivate some of the skills gained in a friendly match vs Strathmore School on 7-June-2024 at the DSN Sports hall from 3:00pm
