The Mendosa Charity Council – EAMUN 2024

The German School delegation, consisting of 12 delegates from grades 9 to 11, made a lasting impression at the EAMUN 2024 conference at the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON). This year, the “Mendosa Charity Council” was introduced, which gave the conference a new, unique dimension. Johanna and Ben directly made their mark on the new council by drafting a resolution to support a school and farmers in Kenya.

Berachah and Talasio received the best resolution award for their proactive stance on the policy committee that addressed gun violence in the United States. Nicole received an honorable mention for her outstanding work in the press corps, which contributed to the overall success of the delegation.

Lexi’s exceptional arguments before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and Johanna’s impressive speech in support of the Mendosa Charity Council resolution were especially commendable. In summary, the German School delegation demonstrated exemplary diplomacy, critical thinking and collaboration throughout the EAMUN 2024 conference. Congratulations to all delegates for their outstanding contributions and commitment to having a positive impact on the world in the future! Alena Burmeister EAMUN
