Last week Friday class 3a and the preschoolers took a fantasy trip to a beautiful underwater world.
We visited the theatrical puppet production called ‘Leo’s Search for a new home.’ We were able to immerse completely into Leo the turtle’s world, an ocean polluted and dangerous for underwater fauna and flora. As the kids pointed out, this is unfortunately our reality today, very real and very sad. The show was an absolute treat, with a lot of drama, action music, and fun and the best parts were how the performers included the children in the show.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and decided right afterward to become a lot more proactive in keeping our environment free from refuse and trash.
We want other turtles like Leo to have a clean and beautiful ocean to call their home and intend to do our part to make this possible.
