Two special days took place at the elementary school over the last two days.
On Thursday, the children were given a completely different insight into the world of mathematics in mixed-year groups. While the children from Years 1 and 2 tried their hand at Tangram, number search games, and Sudokus and learned how to handle money while shopping and selling, the third and fourth graders experimented with paper airplanes, folded origami, and worked with patterns.
On Friday, the focus was on social learning. Through play, the children learned more about the topics of “Resolving conflicts”, “Diversity and integration” and “Friendly interaction”.
